Our Golden Circle of Champions Family Playday was a huge success even with some HOT weather! Thank you to Hope, Horses & Kids for hosting and letting our pediatric cancer patients and their families enjoy a fun day with horses, chickens, bunnies, & more! 💛

Best Friends First. For Life.

When I snapped this picture in the cowboy parking lot in Salt Lake City in July, Derrick Begay and Colter Todd were fighting for their 2026 NFR lives. They made a money run that night, then got up in the early morning dark to head to Deadwood. They made it a few blocks, then turned around and turned out Deadwood so Colter could fly to Nebraska to watch his sons rope in that night’s short round at the NHSRA Finals (they were the champs) and Begay could get back home to Arizona to celebrate daughter Brindle’s birthday.

Fast forward to late fall. Begay was in on the heading side, but Colter had dropped down out of the Top 15 amongst heelers. Derrick had the chance to rope for big money at the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls last week, but Colter didn’t have the tour points to play. Begay chose his best friend over that big money, and went to smaller rodeos where they could both go.

It came down to the very last night of the regular season…September 30th at the Last Hoorah Roping in Stephenville…but in the end that loyalty was rewarded. Begay and his best bud Colter both made the 2026 NFR. Together.

Our Community Engagement Committee had a blast at the Tularcitos Fall Festival last Friday! 🤠

The kids put their roping skills to the test and learned a little more about the California Rodeo Salinas along the way. We love getting out in the community and sharing a little bit of Rodeo fun! 🐴

We love making our Golden Circle of Champions kids feel like the superstars they are! 🌟💛

Each year, we send one Golden Circle family to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, where they get to experience the NFR, meet cowboys and cowgirls, and be honored at a special banquet. 🤠

We also host an annual family play day with Hope, Horses & Kids, giving our families a chance to enjoy games, horses, chickens, rabbits and other farm animals. 🐴🐓🐰

And each year, one of our Golden Circle champions serves as the Grand Marshal of our Kiddie Kapers Parade during Big Week!

We’re proud to celebrate these incredible kids and their families. 💛
