The Sand City Criterium is back tomorrow, and it’s shaping up to be a great day of racing.

We’ll be there all day providing neutral support to help keep riders rolling. Whether you’re pinning on a number, cheering from the sidelines, or just curious to see what criterium racing is all about, it’s worth stopping by. Fast corners, close racing, and a lot of local talent make this one of the most exciting events of the year.

Come say hi, watch some racing, and enjoy a day celebrating bikes and the local cycling community.

A lot of people have asked us about the bird in our logo.

It’s a sparrow. Traditionally, sailors would tattoo sparrows as a symbol of safe travels and always finding their way home again. We’ve always loved the meaning behind that.

There’s something special about riding a bike. Sometimes it’s adventure. Sometimes it’s escape. Sometimes it’s just clearing your head before or after a long day. But no matter where the ride takes you, the goal is always the same — come home safe, with a few good stories along the way.

That’s what the sparrow means to us.

Those are the rides that stick with you.

We’re lucky to have this in our backyard. If you need your bike ready for the next adventure, you know where to find us. Enjoy the long weekend coming up! We are open Saturday 9am to 5pm but closed our normal Sunday and Monday for some longer rides.
