Please help us welcome Nick Gates to the Warrior RTC coaching staff!

Gates, an Indiana Tech Wrestling Class of 2023 graduate, will serve as Warrior RTC’s Strength & Nutrition Coach.

During his time at Indiana Tech, Nick earned a reputation for his exceptional work ethic, discipline, attitude, and daily habits that fueled his success both on and off the mat. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

As a wrestler, Nick ranks 17th all-time in career wins at Indiana Tech with 78 victories. He was a 2× Conference Champion, 3× NAIA National Qualifier, 3× Academic All-American, 2023 Indiana Tech Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and a fixture in the Warriors’ starting lineup throughout his career. He was also a 2x Michigan High School State Qualifier and State Runner-Up.

In this role, Nick will serve as a consultant for our athletes and families, providing strength and nutrition services designed to improve athletic performance, build healthy habits, reduce injury risk, and help wrestlers reach their full potential on and off the mat.

Nick’s passion for the sport of wrestling, disciplined lifestyle, and commitment to athlete development will be a tremendous asset to our program. We are excited for the positive impact he will have on our athletes and families.
