Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing WBO moms who make all of this possible, day in and day out!

Huge congratulations to our very own Erin Grace Mayo on your fabulous dancing at the World Irish Dancing Championships this week. Your teachers and your family at the Westfall Boyle O’Rourke Academy couldn’t be prouder of what a role model you are - your work ethic, your attitude, your drive, and your gracious and grateful demeanor are an inspiration to all who have the pleasure of knowing you! To be a World Medal Holder yet again and 17th place out of over 150 talented young ladies is just the icing on the cake!

The Westfall Boyle Academy is thrilled to announce that our dance family is gaining an array of new members. We are delighted to welcome our dear friend and colleague LuAnn O’Rourke aboard as we begin a new chapter for all of us. The Westfall Boyle O’Rourke Academy of Irish Dance will offer classes in both the Southern and Mid Atlantic regions. Also joining the team are Sue Fuller and Kelly Pappas, both of whom will be teaching in our New York locations. We all so look forward to the opportunities and collaboration that we will share moving forward together as we continue to spread our love for Irish dance. Well done, Erin, on yet another fabulous overseas competition finish! When the winter storm changed your returning home plans, you made the most of your time in Ireland and took 2nd place at Féile Rince Castletroy College today! Shaun, Doug, and everyone at Westfall Boyle is proud of how well you represented us!

After a whirlwind weekend in Orlando, we are so proud of Caleigh Rae, 11th place overall in Girls U8! You danced beautifully and looked amazing up there on the big stage! Keep up the hard work because it’s paying off!

Better late than never, right? WBA ended the weekend with 100% recalls at Mid Atlantic Oireachtas!! Huge congratulations are in order to our soloists:

Couldn’t be prouder of Adeline Toothman for winning 4th place in her U10 trad set today! You danced with confidence and did your best, which is all we could ever ask for. Congratulations on your hard work paying off! Way to kick off the Oireachtas weekend here in Philadelphia!
