Newburyport Aikido

Tonight Friday night 7/18, Newburyport Aikido will be working out at Cashman Park in Newburyport.

Cashman Park is right on the river in Newburyport.

We will be on the grass right next to the children's playground. This is next to the tennis courts and basketball court.

No experience necessary. 😎

Classes will be held from 5-6 on Wednesdays and 1-2 on Sundays. Join us for a fun session focused on body awareness, where students are on the mat and what they are feeling internally.

Newburyport Aikido at 2024 Yankee Homecoming (Newburyport, MA)

On Saturday August 3rd, Newburyport Aikido participated in , which is part of Newburyport's annual waterfront festival called . We hosted a booth and put on a demonstration.

Our booth provided visitors the opportunity to practice with our wooden practice weapons, rolling on mats with yoga balls, and using hula hoops for any number of activities. Especially popular were the Minecraft tattoos! We got to meet many members of the community. It was a great day!

Newburyport Aikido led a Morning Workout during the 2024 Yankee Homecoming in Newburyport, MA. Our workout attracted passers-by as well as those who saw the publicity and wanted to learn more. We got the perfect weather! Many thanks to the Aikidoka who participated and helped make it the awesome event that it was including Jeremy, Elizabeth, and Kate.
