After a full and busy year in Wyoming (wrangling at the R Lazy S in the summer and working at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the winter) I have returned back to NC! This past year was so incredible and allowed me to chase some longtime dreams of mine but now I am ready to be back and continue building some dreams that I have here at home. Wyoming made me a more well rounded person and instilled a sense of adventure within me that I also want to bring back and share with my NC friends and family. I will be starting back some horse lessons this summer and also have some other exciting plans in the works so stay tuned! I look forward to seeing everyone and thanks again for your continued support!

Staying busy during this month home! It’s been great getting to teach some lessons and let my girls get some exercise again. So thankful for such awesome lesson students!

After an incredible season as a wrangler at R Lazy S Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming, it’s time to say goodbye to this chapter. From guiding scenic rides to caring for livestock, every day brought new challenges and opportunities to grow. I’m grateful that I had the chance to work alongside an amazing team, all while developing my wilderness first aid skills, agricultural business skills, and a deeper knowledge of the land, plants, and wildlife that inhabit the Tetons.

This role greatly improved my horsemanship skills as well. I had the opportunity to ride with some great professionals in the field of ranching, attend a c**t starting clinic, and ride the most I ever have in my entire life. I sat on over 40 horses in 5 months and had an integral part in working with and assessing new horses brought onto the ranch.

This job challenged me in ways that I’ve never been challenged before and taught me how to navigate tough situations with confidence. It was such a rewarding experience and I’m proud to have contributed to such an exceptional ranching community and bring my new skills back to NC!

Big announcement! This May, after graduating from North Carolina State University, I'm heading west to pursue a lifelong dream in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! I'm incredibly excited to join the wrangling staff at the R Lazy S Ranch for the summer. This is an amazing chance to travel to such a beautiful part of the country while significantly growing my horsemanship skills.

This exciting step wouldn't feel right without thanking my wonderful clients from the bottom of my heart. Your trust and support over the past four years of lessons, camps, boarding, and training have allowed me to build a business around my passion. Working with y’all has been a true joy and has helped guide my future path. Thank you!

Please know this is just a temporary adventure – definitely a 'see you later,' not a goodbye! Causby 5 Farm is incredibly important to me, and a big piece of my heart. I can't wait to share my experiences and see you all again soon!
