Update on Charles “Buddy” Poole

Charles “Buddy” Poole underwent a procedure today to biopsy a growth located between his lung and heart. The procedure was successful, although there were a couple of complications along the way.

During the procedure, Buddy’s lung collapsed, and doctors performed an additional procedure to place a tube and treat the lung. He is now stable and being closely monitored in the ICU at the VA Medical Center.

Please keep the prayers, positive thoughts, and encouraging comments coming. We’ll make sure Buddy gets to read them. Your support means more than you know.

Buddy will be taking a few days away from the air to rest and recover. Lance came up for the procedure to help take care of things and will be filling in to host Buddy’s show Friday morning.
