Tomorrow we kick off the summer time training schedule. The summer event season for USA & YMCA swimming is already well underway. Next up is NC Open Water 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️ Championships this coming weekend.

Congratulations from the Marlins and the JF Hurley Family YMCA to the recipients of RAC’s highest honor, the Diane Rufty Hall Award. The 2026 plaque was presented to Gracie Lineberger and Zoey Waters, who have demonstrated unwavering perseverance and dedication to swimming, meeting each challenge with increased resilience, persistence, and hard work. Both will be swimming for Campbell University this Fall!

March & April have been filled with variety at RAC! Here are some pics maybe not shared already. RAC Coaches are stoked to see every one of our swimmers in the Y at the same time tonight at the RAC awards: from RAC South & East squads to our Mini Marlins and all the way up to Seniors and any Alumni in the area! Potluck at JF Hurley Family YMCA Gym / food line opens 5:30, and prayer & event start is 5:45.

We are so happy to be back and have so many updated features in our pool! The new blocks are back in and have their base plates “escutcheons” and height corrected. As part of the starting block purchase we got new and wonderful regulation stanchions (poles!) for our backstroke flags…they look amazing! The significant work on improvements to the air quality are already being felt.
Thank you to everyone who helped raise funds towards the starting blocks and to the Y / JF Hurley Family YMCA for ultimately making that and all these wonderful things happen!
