A Little MoonBridge/MoonBridge Walkover Work In Our Competition Acro Skills Class Last Night✨️

& This was their FIRST time EVER working this skill👏🤩

Most people see the big or flashy skills.

But they forget what it took to get there.

Every SINGLE acro skill is built from the fundamentals.

That backhandspring, started from a bridge shape. A Backwalkover, started from building a solid strong bridge.

That is why at Spotlight we drill the fundamentals at the child's own pace. Yes I challenge them, but I also instill alot of confidence so they WANT to try on their own.

Push them to fast and watch them crumble under the pressure and mental blocks take hold.

Miss Penelope has worked extremely hard on holding a solid bridge, In Elementary acro last night I told her what we were working on and why. She had to trust herself and me, with a few spotted attempts she was finally ready to try by herself🥰👏

THIS EXCITEMENT AND SEEING HOW PROUD she was of herself..IS WHY I LOVE TEACHING!🤍
