✨ CONSISTENCY IS KEY ✨
I've heard this story too many times.
"I wasn't getting stronger, so I switched it up."
"I worked out for a month and saw no change!"
"I work out occasionally, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere."

Change takes time. If you don't stick with a program, you will never see results.

Develop a solid program and stick with it for the entirety of the cycle. If you're not sure where to start, how to build a program, or how long it should be, then invest in a trainer.

Strength is a skill that takes time. You have to dedicate yourself to the work, because it doesn't come quickly and it doesn't come easily.
If you can shift your mindset and view it as a lifelong practice instead of a quick fix you will set yourself up for success.

One of my favorite quotes from one of my biggest inspirations. Bruce was obsessed with perfecting his physical abilities. I like to think I have a similar obsession. Is there a limit to our strength? Are we held back by our genetics? There's only one way to find out - put in the work.

I love that I get to teach one-on-one strength training. But my services aren't just limited to in-person training! I also offer virtual training for those who aren't local, and customized training plans for experienced clients who are looking to add more structure to their routine.

Really the only 3 things you need to form a strength training program.
1. SIMPLICITY.
Do you understand why you're doing the exercises? Do you know their benefit? Are they relatively easy to perform?
2. CONSISTENCY.
Can you stick with the program? Does it fit your schedule? Can you dedicate yourself to the entirety of the program?
3. DIFFICULTY.
Are you being pushed enough? Do you feel better afterward? Are you being forced out of your comfort zone?

✨ Drill the basics ✨
Do you know how to correctly hinge?
Squat? Rotate? Pick something heavy up?
One of my goals is to teach my clients how to execute these foundational human movements with correct form. We should have been taught this in elementary school, but it's never too late to learn! Save your back, save your knees. Learn how to move your body correctly so you can use it for years to come.
