Despite not being included in the initial programme of the Paralympic Games LA28, Paraclimbing will be kept in consideration, along with para surf, for a potential inclusion as an additional sport.

“We are extremely proud that in such a short space of time we could put together a strong proposal, and one that is now being considered to be an additional sport," said IFSC President Marco Scolaris.

IFSC Asia General Assembly. Efforts are already in fruition in the South East Asian region echoing what was delivered by IFSC Asia President Mr Li, in garnering more of SEACF members to be a full member of the IFSC.
