Last week two of our U14s, Ari Kinsman(AUS) and James Thomas (USA) competed in the Whistler Cup! Both Rowmarkers performed incredibly with Ari coming in 3rd and James coming in 6th in the GS! Ari also added a 2nd place finish in the Slalom! Team USA brought home the Nations Cup to round out the weekend! Congratulations to both Ari and James on their accomplishments on the world stage!

Our U14s just finished up the last of the qualifiers for the season! Showing some great results and better teamwork. In the second GS at the UOP qualifier Aster Schillinger WON the first run and set herself up for a 5th place overall! On the boys side we had two on the podium with Ari Kinsman in 2nd and James Thomas in 3rd! Monday and Tuesday we headed to Snowbird for the boys Super Gs where Ari Kinsman landed himself a 4th place finish in Race 1. Race 2 and 3 were unfortunately cancelled due to the snowfall the night before. We are so proud of the hard work these U14s have put in day in and day out, on to Regionals and Tri-Divisionals!!

The first few days of the 2026 Winter Olympics have been something special—and Breezy Johnson ’13 has been right at the center of it. In an incredible performance on Sunday, the Rowland Hall and Rowmark Ski Academy alum captured the first gold medal of the Games for Team USA in women’s downhill. Breezy was then back on the course today for the women’s alpine team combined event, which you can watch in primetime tonight on NBC, on demand on Peacock TV, or on our story right now.

Our U14s just returned from a Super G series in Tamarack! Some great results from the ladies with a 3rd place finish from Aster Schillinger in the first race, and a 5th place finish from Hadley Rhodes in the third! No racing for the boys unfortunately due to weather, but we’re keeping our spirits up into the next training block at home!

to Rowmark alum Elisabeth Bocock, a rising star on the US Alpine Team. Elisabeth made her World Cup debut in 2023 and climbed to a career-best 12th in giant slalom at Kronplatz last month. She also captured bronze at the Junior World Championships and claimed both NorAm and US national titles in giant slalom. 💪🇺🇸

Celebrating Olympian Katie Hensien this ! From NCAA national champion at the University of Denver to Olympian in Beijing 2022, Katie continues to shine on the World Cup stage, recently earning 4th in giant slalom at Sölden and a career-best 12th in slalom. 🔥

Our U14s had a great showing at their first qualifier of the year! First off, a HUGE shoutout to Ari Kinsman who won both slaloms and the GS, taking the overall weekend title! In the second slalom we had 3 boys in the top 5 and 3 girls in the top 10! Ari Kinsman and James Thomas take 1 and 2 with Dylan Glover in 4th position! Josey Huang-Kim took 5th place for the ladies! So many other great results that came from the hard work and preparation our athletes put in day in and day out. We are so proud to see the athletes dedication shine through on race day! to Rowmarker and World Champion Breezy Johnson, a powerhouse in speed events!�After heartbreakingly missing the 2022 Olympics due to injury, Breezy roared back with two gold medals at the 2025 World Championships in downhill and team combined. to Rowmarker and four-time Olympian Chirine Njeim.�Chirine represented Lebanon in three Winter Olympics (2002, 2006, and 2010) in alpine skiing—then made history by qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics, this time in the marathon. This makes Chirine the only Rowmark grad to become a Winter AND Summer Olympian! 🏔️🎿🏃♀️�
