In both Northerly and Southerly latitudes, seasonal changes are in the near future.
So, may be a good time to review our lesson on Vāta: The Mobile Force that governs all changes within and without.
This lesson from Foundations of Ayurveda Part I is the longest of the lessons on the doṣas. That's because there’s so much to say and understand about vāta.
Not only is it the most reactive of the three doṣas (meaning that it can most easily go out of balance and most easily be brought back into balance) it’s also the doṣa that has the greatest influence on the balance of the other doṣas because of its mobility.
Discover the most vāta pacifying thing we can do (it doesn’t involve oil or routine!) along with many other gems of insight with this in-depth exploration.
Take it anytime and at your own pace: https://buff.ly/2rHUzh6
It seems like vāta pacification is good medicine for these times.

In order to see results from yoga practice, you have to focus on consistency. If you can consistently include 20-30 minutes for pelvic health movement 4X a week, you will begin to move the dial towards having better pelvic health. Even better if you've done some work to figure out the disparities between the sides and you know which side needs a little extra TLC.
If your habits are random and you have no goal in mind, you will not find the results your hoping for.
Yoga works, but it works when you do ❤️

Prati means "against," and āhara translates as "food" or "the urge to fetch."
Hence, one interpretation of pratyāhāra is resisting the impulse to fetch.
How frequently do these urges arise?
Whether it's fetching a snack, water, tea, or engaging in activities like watching television, our senses—touch, taste, sound, smell, vision—can exert a powerful influence, sometimes becoming almost constant.
Every time we yield to and fulfill these urges, our focus—and consequently our prāṇa (life force energy)—shifts outward.
, a crucial practice described by the ancient sage , the author of the Sūtra, is considered the fifth limb of —the eight limbs—of Yoga. This practice involves redirecting the momentum of our focus from outward to inward.
Drs. Welch and Svoboda delve into the theory and application of pratyāhāra: its meaning and purpose, the heightened awareness needed for its practice, its connection to the flow of , and its significance in our contemporary lives.
Listeners are encouraged to engage in guided visualizations, chanting, and various practices throughout the course.
