Nibley Park, which opened in May 1922 after the Nibley family donated the land to Salt Lake City, is the oldest public golf course in Utah.
Its central location has made it a popular destination for city dwellers and tourists, offering breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. Fairways and greens are guarded by mature trees, many of which were planted before the early pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City.

Nibley Park Golf Course is excited to announce our Centennial Celebration! Mr. Nibley was a great ambassador for golf in Utah and we look forward to celebrating his vision. On Friday, September 23rd, we will be having a 9 hole scramble. Put together a foursome of your friends or family, and join us for a great day! Saturday, September 24th, we will be having Junior Play Day from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Mr. Nibley was a huge advocate for junior golf, and this is the perfect time to honor that. Registration for both events opens September 2, and 9:00 AM.
