Robert Baird builds custom, handmade fly reels, creels, spinning lures and bait cages. He produces glass beads and carves mother of pearl for some works.

Robert Baird uses various materials to produce his lures and reels: sterling silver, gold, nickel-silver, copper and brass. He hand forges all of his hooks from spring steel, both barbed and barbless. All of the Blades are hand planished and tempered. Every part used in producing the reels are produced by Robert Baird.
