Using a underneath the sit bones will help form a stable foundation in your seat, creating more range of motion in the pelvis and promoting active length through your spine. It is also a lot more comfortable being supported while centering.

Tip of the day :)
~TODAY'S YOGA TIP~
Side plank (Vashistasana). An excellent pose for building and .
1. Try practicing with your top hand on your hip to manually open up and stack the pelvis.
2. Direct your lifted toes to the top corner of the ceiling, this will tone your thigh and glute.
3. Actively press through your finger tips drawing your shoulder head down and away from your hand, this helps to take weight out of your palm and wrist while strengthening forearms and fingers. 😄

~YOGA TIP #1907~ Forearm balancing is a great way to stabilize and integrate strength in the upper back and shoulders. Before taking yourself up, make sure to broaden your shoulders enough to melt your heart and avoid building tension around the neck. :) Remember to be playful!
