TRAUMA!
2025! Saying goodbye to relationships that no longer serve me.✌🏼Not only did I experience trauma from leaving the Mormon Church in 2017, but I also experienced it again after leaving an MLM! And mostly from their prophet/leader!

There are SO many instances that I can share where I felt this to be true, but needed to share what happened today….

First- after almost 10 years in this Fitness MLM business, (and succeeding) I decided to pivot- I wanted more growth. Something different. I was tired of sharing my life on social media but still wanted to work from home- insert “LIFE INSURANCE”. Becoming a Broker checked all the boxes for me and wasn’t an MLM.

When I had the conversation with my upline about my new direction it was the most awkward conversation I ever had.😬 More on that below…

But first, back in 2018 after being a TOP coach on her team for years I came to her seeking comfort as I just had Malachi and was struggling with my business. I told her I felt like quitting. Her response?! “THAT DOESN’T SCARE ME. I don’t need YOU- I don’t need you to make money.” (I have the screenshots) That hurt! 💔 Especially after how I ran my business! PEOPLE first! After that I kept my distance. I stopped building and just kept helping women with their fitness goals but it was hard to feel like I was more than just a money maker for her…..

Today it PROVED I was right. Like I mentioned, the last conversation I had with her I was sharing my new career with the Life Insurance business, and how BODi was no longer in my heart- I had stopped growing. She wasn’t happy for me at all. She shut down the Industry, and told me the only reason I wasn’t growing in Beachbody was because I wasn’t working hard enough.

Today, she posted about TIKTOK and the ban. My comment was this. Which she DELETED multiple times…

“I’m not on TikTok!😆 But I felt sad hearing the news for those who built their businesses on there! I know how it feels to have the rug pulled out from under you! But grateful I found an opportunity where I don’t have to rely on any social media platform to earn an amazing income from home! 🙏🏻”

I text her to ask if she deleted my comment and she admitted to doing so. This relationship was over as soon as I left the MLM and didn’t follow her to her next one. But now it’s officially over. I am so glad to be out of a RELIGIOUS and BUSINESS CULT!

Thank you to all those in Mormonism, and to all my old teammates in BODi who still want to have a true friendship with me without having alternative motives. ♥️🙏🏻

This chapter of Success Club is closing for me after earning it for 117 months in a row. (17 is my favorite number!🥹) Grateful for this business and all the blessings it brought into my life! 🙏🏻

1 year before I got pregnant with my 3rd baby 👶🏼Malachi. I’ve shared before how that was a huge adjustment and change after a 10 year gap. ⁣

This is probably the “sexiest” fitness photo I’ve ever taken or posted and I’m OK with that.😆

Fitness SAVED me for many YEARS. ⁣
The grind, the dedication and commitment to bodybuilding & competitions….. until it wasn’t enough. I had to at some point face my struggles, demons, and trauma.🥹 ⁣

And I have. Has been it easy?! NO! But the journey has been worth it. Trying my best to heal and break the generational trauma.❤️‍🩹 ⁣

Will I complete again? I don’t know. Right now I have different priorities. I’m about 20lbs heavier than I feel comfortable at but again, I’m accepting where I’m at and know that you can only give your energy & attention to so many things at a time.⁣

My mental health & recovery, family, marriage & kids, fitness coaching, and my new insurance carrier are at the top. ⁣

Give yourself grace wherever you’re at. Know that you can only give so much at once. 🙏🏻⁣

Not for being recognized by our company, but the meaning behind it. The hundreds of women & moms that I have had the honor to work with over the years means the world to me. 🙏🏻

Hike #14🌲Right after snapping this pic I saw a MOUNTAIN LION!🦁😳 It slowly crossed the path ahead of us and went deep into the woods. Kinda scary!

But the boys & I loved this one! 2.3 miles and some waterfalls. It was a little challenging for Malachi but he did it! Very peaceful and not too hot since we were in a canyon.🏔️

I’m so grateful for this time I’m having with them enjoying nature and away from electronics. Elijah likes to play video games and Malachi enjoys his screen time, so it’s nice getting them outside. Sophia’s been busy working! She’s coaching little kids soccer teams and has been back at soccer herself. Super proud of her! ⚽️

Right now I am supposed to be in San Antonio for our annual Coach Summit but decided not to go this year. I’m sad I’m missing this event and my team, but I’m committed to sticking to the boundaries I set….

It was a tough decision not to go, but my sobriety & recovery has to be my priority. And I honestly don’t trust myself to travel alone yet. ✈️

It’s an event where thousands of BODi Partners gather for trainings, new product launches, workouts with the super trainers, and parties!🎉

I’ve gone every year since I became a coach 10 years ago! Minus when I was pregnant with Malachi and another time with a schedule conflict.

This was last year in San Antonio. I got to walk to stage for achieving over 100 months of Success Club! That means that for 100 consecutive months, without fail, I have helped at least 3-5 women get started on their fitness journey.💪🏼 Something I am very proud of. My last cut!!💪🏼 It took me 6-8 months!
And I’m ready to do it again! I was lifting and cardio 5 days/week and dialed in my nutrition! And was following a healthy balanced plan 80/20!

I am taking on 10 friends who are wanting to feel stronger, have more energy and build muscle. We’ll be focused on lifting and eating for muscle growth—but no fear, this won’t make you “bulky” it’s all about body recomposition.😉 This is especially perfect for my 35+ ladies! (I’m 42)🙌🏼
