We are sad to hear of the passing of Raymond Kelly. Ray has been an integral part of our team over the last 30 years, and if you've played Glendale you've likely seen him roaming the golf course in the marshall cart. We will miss seeing his smiling face and appreciate his work ethic and loyalty to Glendale.

2/23/2022 Update: Plans for blasting have been put on hold. Concrete demolition will continue with alternate machinery.

Salt Lake City is in the process of removing old infrastructure at the Glendale Waterpark, including the concrete paving in old pools that cannot be reclaimed. Due to the depth of some concrete, demolition contractors will be using blasting to assist in the removal process.

It is anticipated that blasting will begin by Wednesday, February 23rd, and will continue intermittently during daytime hours for a few weeks.

Area residents may hear blasting or feel some slight vibration. Please contact Rocío Torres Mora ([email protected] or 385-495-5323) if you have questions or concerns.

Salt Lake City está trabajando en la demolición de segmentos del antiguo parque acuático para abordar preocupaciones inmediatas de seguridad pública. Esto incluye el pavimento de hormigón en las antiguas piscinas que, debido a su antigüedad y mal estado, son imposibles de recuperar como piscinas operativas. El personal de la Municipalidad y el contratista de demolición han confirmado que el concreto es muy profundo (más de 6 pies en algunas secciones) y planean usar voladuras para ayudar en el proceso de remoción. Esto tendrá lugar a partir del miércoles 23 de febrero y continuará en horas del día de manera intermitente durante algunas semanas.
