This divisionals was a battle! The setters brought their βAβ game and really challenged us mentally and psychically. Through the ups and downs, one things is clear; the Planet Rock Team is full of passion, grit, and most importantly, love for one another. Weβre so proud of all of our athletes and psyched to be bringing home a new Divisional Champs Banner!

Join us throughout 2023-2024 with area teams for a speed climbing competition series, Formula SPEED! Each competition will have a unique format specific to that monthβs training cycle, followed by a clinic with a specific focus taught by a top-10 Nationally-ranked speed climbing coach alongside a member of the National speed climbing team.Β
Want to be eligible to win some sick prizes and swag? Compete in all three competitions in December, this spring, and in June, and be eligible to win a prize for your category. Categories will be based on previous speed climbing times and are open to all ages.Β
Cost per registrant is $35 for the competition only and $80 for the competition and post-competition clinic.Β
Registration for Round 1 to openΒ Tuesday, October 31st at 9am EST (that's tomorrow)!

π₯ Bouldering Nationals β23 π₯
A few weeks have passed since we wrapped up 2023 Nationals with our 6 bouldering athletes. We couldnβt be more proud of their grit and determination! Nick, Izzie, Liv, and Lovisa competed in bouldering nats for the first time, climbing with incredible poise. Zach was having a blast on the mats despite not having time to train boulders recently! Evie finished off her Nationals with a silver medal and a spot on the youth national team πͺ The stoke is high for next season!!

βοΈ Lead/TR Nationals 2023 βοΈ
We are so proud of our 6 Planet Rockers that competed in Lead/TR at Nationals earlier this month. Half of them were competing in their first ever Youth Nationals! Lovisa advanced to the semi finals and took 15th and Evie got to spend her 13th birthday under the lights and earned herself a spot on the podium and the Youth National Team π₯πΊπΈ

π Speed Nationals 2023 π
We started off Nationals week with speed. After working their butts off all year, 12 of our Planet Rock speeders competed on the big stage. The comp was full ups and downs; PRs and slips, victory and defeat. But that is the nature of speed climbing. Through it all, our crew rallied together to cheer each other on and pick each other back up and we couldnβt be more proud. Huge congrats to Evie for becoming the Youth C National Champion and Zach for setting a new Youth National Record and earning a spot on the Youth National Team.
