A lot of y’all are chasing sweat and calorie burns instead of strength. That ain’t it, sis!!
If the weight never changes, your body won’t have much reason to either. Mmmk?
Rest. Recover. Lift heavier over time. That’s how we build muscle, sis. Not by turning every workout into cardio with dumbbells.

Just because you inherited the pattern doesn’t mean you have to keep repeating it. It doesn’t have to run in you!
Lift the weights. Go on the walks. Eat the protein. Drink the water! Honor your health… do the boring ass basics over and over and over! Get your blood work done too. You only have one body; treat it right, and it will treat you right; it’s the only body you’ll ever have! Water YOU!
Love you, mean it!!
Coach Candace
Listen, do the cardio. Do the Pilates. The activities that you enjoy! I am here for it!!! Go on your hot girls walkies as you should be doing daily. I love that for you; I love that for me!
But if you want the LOOK… the toned look. Look like you lift, look like you work out?
Sis, we gotta lift some weights, weights that challenge you!! Eat STRONG: enough calories (your maintenance level of calories), protein, AND CARBS. They are not the enemy!
Stick to the program. Be patient! Get real comfy with building, not chasing fat/weight loss for a good long while!!
That’s the tea, sis; that’s the way!!

It should be a crime! Am I right, or Am I right? 😝
Peanut butter is so delicious! It is easy to overconsume if you aren’t aware. No need to avoid it! I LOVE it and I know you do too, but be mindful of how much you are eating.
Calories from fat sources can be deceptive. They often pack a high-caloric punch for a small serving size, making it easy to overeat!
Sis, so mind your portions! Pay attention to the serving size.
Eyeballing, guessing, or measuring your food by volume isn’t very accurate. Get a food scale!
If you are unaware of how much you’re eating or what an actual portion size looks like, weigh it out, sis! It may seem time-consuming and may be at first, but it’s super eye-opening in the long run.
Remember, you don’t have to weigh your food forever, but doing it for a while helps you understand what an actual portion size looks like and how much you are eating.
Again, enjoy your PB; all foods fit, but check your portions, sis!
Oh and one more thing peanut butter is not a good source of protein!
