The Lee Kay Public Shooting Center is a full-service public shooting range owned and operated by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The shooting center has seven outdoor ranges that are open all year. Notable features include cowboy action scenarios, dog training grounds, shooting clinics and hunter education classes. We have made some adjustments to the sequencing. We have updated, improved and set up a new mode for novice shooters. Come on out and shoot some flurries with us again this Thursday's from 5pm till 7:30pm.

The WHRC AKC TRIAL has priority of the property and areas
used.
The birding pavilion is open.
Any dogs on the property not involved in the AKC Trial MUST
be on a leash or under control of the owner. Any dogs/owners
or other users who disturb the Hunt Trial may be reported to
LKPSR and may lose access to the WMA.
Please use CAUTION when using the roads and do not disturb
the event.

Did you know the range also has a beautiful Wildlife Management Area? Lee Kay contains approximately 934 acres for public use, including dog training, exercise and bird-watching. It is, in fact, the largest publicly-accessible area for dog training in Utah. Over 221 bird species have been identified in the area, including 18 rare bird species. The Aquatics team will begin using Aqua Shade, a blue
dye, in the ponds at the Lee Kay Hatchery to reduce
thermal pollution and protect the musky brood stock
from high temperatures this summer.
Aqua Shade is EPA-registered pond dye designed to
inhibit underwater w**d and algae growth by limiting
sunlight pe*******on.
It is SAFE for fish, pets and wildlife - a non-toxic,
eco-friendly water treatment.
You may see changes to the water color to the ponds
downstream of the hatchery for most of the summer.
