t of YouTube videos. First, you (the individual, team or club) need to show up with the individual will to improve. Most of what I am going to teach you, you can and will do on your own. As a player I will teach you the skills you need at your level specifically:

Fist touch
Speed on the ball
Distribution
Defensive stance
Vision
Positioning without the ball
Mechanics of striking the ball

You will meet with me periodically for check-ins, benchmarking and to ask questions. However you will do much of the hard work on your own and at no cost. Frankly, if you won't do the hard work at home there is no need for your parents to pay or drive you to your check-ins. I use the same Statsports gps trackers during your session that the pros use. We will track your improvement in fitness and speed and benchmark it against youth players at the age and level you aspire to. Our sessions are group sessions, I have found it is very difficult to get younger players to work hard if there is not an element of competition. Ideal session size is 6-8 but we will do with 4-10 players max. For sessions over 5 players I offer credits to lower the cost ( if 6 to 10 players ALL players will be charged $25). This discount includes conditioning session when we do in a gym. However, for FUTSAL (indoors) and TOCA (indoors) there will be no group discount due to the facility costs. I have a separate but similar program for GKs. Same ground rules, this is for GK who want to get better on their own. One or two sessions/per month 2 to 4 GK max. This will be like no other GK session you have ever done. You be very tired after training. Interested as a player? If so, put your own short term goals and have your parents send me (e.g. make the A team as a starter at my local club) and Long Term (play college soccer anywhere) and we will set up a no cost 30 minute evaluation session where we can bench mark your player . I literally do this to improve the game and not for the money. Seriously. My fees are modest ($50 for a 50 min monthly check in) and are used to help defer costs of this program (sports trackers, insurance, travel cost etc). My sessions are in high demand and currently I have no openings for new academy members. Sorry. If so, I still want to see your short term (ie. lower the percentage of your female players who are quitting soccer all together) and long term goals (Get 2% of your players making the state Olympic player development (or EPD) teams each year) and send to me. We will then schedule a 30 minute session to see how my programing can help you meet your team or club goals. My consulting fees are on a sliding scale depending on ability to pay and start at $100/hour. Full scholarships are available for clubs in underrepresented communities. WHEN ARE TRAINING SESIONS? Typically Saturday afternoons (summer) Sunday afternoons (School Year) during School breaks, likely at 10 AM. WHERE ARE TRAININGS? In the greater Redmond/Kirkland area. Mostly turf. However, occasionally we do grass and futsal on basketball/tennis courts outdoors. PAYMENT

That early love of the game grew into club soccer including 2 seasons playing club soccer in college.
