Great run! Its also the one week of my cycle that is good and its showing. I post about my cycle so much now because I knew so little about it and I felt like something was wrong with me all the time. Then I learned how much the woman’s body is constantly changing all month long.
Women really do only get like 1 week where we operate close to a man (Follicular Phase). The rest of the time we are going through constant change in our body.
Ovulation comes after follicular, which also comes with low energy and cramps. However not all women get the cramps with ovulation. Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t.Then we go back to good for only a couple more days.
Then is the crappy phase which unfortunately is also the longest (Luteal Phase). Here we go through 10-12 days of the luteal phase which is just a hormonal s**t show of low energy and cravings, mood swings, and feeling like s**t and like we cant keep up.
Next is the period which is labeled Day 1 of the cycle. It brings cramps and a lot of blood loss. Every woman is pretty familiar with this one. Once that passes its back to 1 good week.
So ladies if you haven’t learned that yet well it really helps to know but it still sucks. Regular exercise is one way to help a decent amount with it. Just take the workouts slower when you need to and let go of the guilt. All that matters is that you are doing it.
