Stapleton School of the Performing Arts

I am completely heartbroken for my new State of California 💔where I have been embraced by the dance and theater community Stapleton School of the Performing Arts we are donating to Pasadena Civic Ballet. Please help our fellow dancers and their families to heal and move forward💜🙏🏼🩰

We are praying for all of our PCB families, and especially for those of you who have lost your homes.

We are gathering essential items for those who are affected. If you would like to help, please drop off supplies at the studio on Saturday, January 11, from 1pm to 4pm.

We are requesting the following:

* Clothing: For all ages - shirts, pants, sweatshirts, new underwear, new socks
* Ballet clothes: pink tights and black leotards
* Hygiene Products: Soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant
* Essential food and water: Bottled water, non-perishable snacks (granola bars, crackers, etc)
* New Blankets & Bedding: Blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, and towels
* Comfort & Entertainment: Books, puzzles, playing cards, games.

We will organize your donations and distribute to families in need.

If you prefer to make a monetary donation in lieu of dropping items off at the studio, please use the link below. We will then distribute the funds donated here to the PCB families affected. (Link in Bio)

February’s senior spotlight! Angela Sambrano🩷

My name is Angela Sambrano and I have been dancing at Stapleton since I was four years old. Ballet has always been a source of happiness for me and over the years it has
helped me to build up a confidence that has resonated throughout my life. I feel more comfortable in myself, my abilities, and my friendships because of my dance experience. As a graduating senior, I am so grateful to this wonderful community for supporting me throughout my life and helping me grow into the person I am today. I am especially grateful for my instructors who have taught me not only ballet, but also the value of perseverance, commitment, and hard work. They will always hold a special place in my heart as I carry these lessons with me into the future.

Next Friday is SSPA’s first annual “Dinner and a Movie” night! For all students ages 12 and up! It’s a free event! Come on down and be sure to dress cozy-bring your slippers, blankets, pillows etc!

A big thanks to our Wellness Committee for putting this event together!🩷
