TBN S. Region Team Trail underway

The TBN South Region Team Trail kicked off the 2026 season at LBJ Saturday 18 January. Ten teams took to the water under prefront 45 degree partly cloudy skies. At weigh in temps held in upper 50s and winds were building15-20 gusting to 25.
Team Ron Dupree and Michael Devine were the class of the field, pushing the wind back and coming in with a five fish limit of 17.03lbs, Ron’s 5.81lb kicker was the tournament’s big bass. Close second was team Michael and Grant Gale whose full creel weighed in at 16.47lbs. Third place went to team Craig Musselman and Jason Funderburk with a 10.67lb limit.
The next stop on the S. Region Individual trail will be 21 February at Coleto Creek.

The TBN South Region Individual Trail led off the 2026 season at LBJ Sunday 19 January. Seven anglers launched under post front, 19 degree, breezy clear skies. By weigh in, temps were in the upper 60s and winds stayed mild at 7-10.
New to the South Region Trail, Tarleton State angler Grant Gale put on a dominating performance on his home lake. Grant brought in a five fish limit weighing in at 24.62lbs, anchored by a tournament BB of 6.03! Second place went to Cliff Martinez who found four keepers for 8.94
