Let’s be real for a second. Even though I posted earlier.
I spend so much time wondering what my purpose is. And truthfully, majority of my time fighting who I am.
I feel so much. I experience things so vividly. I panic 15 times a day. My low’s hit hard and fast. A lot of the time I’m asking myself “why am I like this”. It doesn’t add up to be that person and also this all or nothing overachiever I feel I am.

Today I had a moment of clarity. I’m done fighting myself. I’m done trying to figure myself out and then start life. I’ve learned my purpose is to go through life, going through what I go through giving 100% every day despite, and embracing each day and challenge I face. Not asking “how can I change myself” but rather “how can I make this life magnificent exactly who I am today”.

I am meant to have highs and lows. I’m meant to feel everything I do. I’m meant to experience every moment of it- not run or numb myself from it. And I’m meant to show you can be something so freaking great despite any challenge. You can truly continue chasing your dreams despite adversity. You get to choose.
Even when you’re crying in the gym changing stall. The choice is there- are you gonna keep going?

And that’s what bodybuilding has taught me.

July 31st 2022, 208.2 -> July 18th 2023 156.8 (post cheat meal so still coming down from that)

Two weeks under a year between photos. I’ve wanted to post a transformation picture on my feed for a while but was nervous. I think subconsciously I didn’t want the first photos to have a spot on my feed. But when I realized I was so close to being exactly 1 year away from those photos and how fast time flew by I told Victor “man if I saw this and saw it only took a year. I’d say ‘a year?? I can do that’

and that there closed my case for posting it. If I can get one person to see it and say “I can do that” and literally TRANSFORM themselves internally AND externally. I’ll handle the nerves that come with posting it. It’s worth it.

Pls don’t judge my bruising 😂 OG’s know I bruise insanely easy and yesterday we had a crazy route on the truck OK

Today I realized something..

That despite this being the happiest with my physique I’ve ever been.. it’s the least focused on my physique I’ve been too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s super exciting seeing the results and what’s happening now.. but I’m the most focused on the mentality and what’s to come with bodybuilding instead. Every day is driven with intention to appreciate the journey I am taking and how each day crafts the person I am becoming. I know with every single coin, whether a penny or a quarter- I put in my bank that contributes to the greater goal, I am growing.

And that makes me really freaking proud.
