I dislike saying it, but my business launch of She Beast Fitness will be delayed a few months to have knee replacement surgery next month. I will, however, keep posting tips, articles, and some videos on fitness and nutrition. Just have to get better at videoing me first. I hope you will still like and follow me for now on Facebook. I'll let you know on my personal page when I have a video or new tips/articles/content up.

We have learned about foods containing the antioxidants known as Polyphenols. Today we cover the other two main types of antioxidants Flavonoids and Carotenoids and the foods these can be found in. Good nutrition is a great preventer of illness and disease!

Let's get to know Antioxidants. There are 3 main categories - Polyphenols, Flavonoids, and Carotenoids. These are your free-radical fighters. Free radicals are unstable atoms that damage cells, causing illness and aging. Antioxidants scavenge for these free radicals in our bodies. Today's "Did You Know?" focuses on foods containing Polyphenols and why eating them helps your health.
