In a beginner Hatha class like the one I attended, the poses should already be of low difficulty. But, with that added distance from the teacher, simple poses are perfect when easing your students into a setting that theyre not used to. Combined with clear instructions, this is a sure way to give a great first impression to any new starters.

You need to stimulate the muscles to help them grow, but training them too much can be counterproductive, as that doesn't give them time to rest, repair and rebuild. Train your legs muscles at least twice per week but no more than four times weekly on non-consecutive days.
