We’ve gotten so stuck on what yoga should look like that we’ve forgotten that our yoga practice belongs to us, and we get to choose.
It’s in that power of choice, to push or soften, to say yes or say no, that yoga gives something back to us that we may not even realize we’ve been missing: our agency.
To the perfectionists, people pleasers, and grown up “good” kids, I see you. Your mat is waiting, and the only person you need to practice for is you.

People make a lot of assumptions about what “advanced” yoga looks like.
But the truth is, it’s not how flexible you are. It’s not if you can access the “deepest expression” of a pose. Advanced yoga is about listening. It’s about knowing what feels right to you and honoring that, regardless of what anyone else is doing.
It’s letting go of the ego, releasing competition, and holding deep love for where you are in this exact moment.
That, in itself, is much harder than it looks.

If you’ve ever been curious about how a private 1:1 session is different than just popping into a studio, now you know!
Studio yoga is beautiful. And it’s not for everyone. Private sessions are like getting a custom dress built for your body versus buying one off the rack. Both have their time and place.
A personalized practice meets you exactly where you are, whether you’re rebuilding after an injury, recovering from surgery, or you’ve just never felt like you belonged in a one-size-fits-all class. It’s about understanding your body, not forcing your body to understand the pose.
That deeper self-awareness comes when someone actually knows your history, your limits, and your goals. When the practice is shaped around you, you don’t have to contort yourself to fit the class.
If you’re busy (which honestly, who isn’t?), a private session is efficient. You get no wasted time. You get no modifications you don’t need. You get just 60 minutes (or whatever you’ve got) that actually work for your life.
Your nervous system knows the difference between being watched and being seen. Your nervous system knows the difference between performing and practicing.
That’s Invitation Yoga. It’s built around your body, not the other way around.
You’re ready to practice on your terms. Let’s talk.
