Boxing Gym
Every Tuesday and Thursday, I get to watch these young warriors step into the ring, push each other, learn from one another, and grow stronger together. Boxing is one of the toughest sports in the world, but what makes it special is the respect that remains when the rounds are over.
They may compete hard inside the ring, but outside of it, they’re still friends, teammates, and young athletes helping each other become better. That’s what this sport is truly about—discipline, courage, respect, and brotherhood.
Their love for boxing shows in every round, every lesson, and every time they come back ready to work. 🥊🔥

Coaches! Trust your philosophy, trust your experience, and continue believing in the way you teach boxing. Don’t let anyone convince you that there is only one correct way to coach or develop a fighter.
Every coach has a different style, philosophy, and approach. No one holds the secret to being the “best” coach because this sport is always evolving, and we should be learning every single day. Stay confident in what you believe, remain open to growth, and never stop developing alongside your fighters.
Great coaches don’t know everything—they never stop learning.
JETT didn’t get the win this time, but we couldn’t be more proud of him. We’re grateful for the experience and for the opportunity to step in the ring with a talented young fighter who has great experience. Padres y boxeadores me an comentado en varias ocasiones cĂłmo algunos coaches se acercan a mis boxeadores o a sus padres diciĂ©ndoles: “VĂ©nganse con nosotros, aquĂ los vamos a hacer mejores.” Y crĂ©anme, siempre me termino enterando. SĂ© que esto no solo me pasa a mĂ; es algo que muchos coaches vivimos.
Yo siempre les digo a mis peleadores: no se dejen impresionar por palabras bonitas ni por promesas fáciles. Si alguien les habla maravillas y ustedes quieren creerles, adelante, váyanse. Las puertas están abiertas. Yo no voy a rogarle a nadie que se quede donde no quiere estar.
Pero hay algo que me parece curioso: de todos los coaches que han intentado llevarse a alguno de mis peleadores, ninguno ha demostrado con resultados todo lo que promete con la boca. Ni un campeĂłn nacional, ni una trayectoria que respalde tanta seguridad.
Para mĂ, esos son los peores coaches: los que en lugar de enfocarse en desarrollar su propio talento, están pendientes de lo que otros gimnasios ya están formando. Un buen coach no necesita quitarle peleadores a nadie para demostrar lo que vale. Su trabajo, sus resultados y sus atletas hablan por Ă©l.
