Starting this fall and there on out 1 Hope for Kids will be our Charity of choice !!!!!!!!!!

I've always had a thing for kids, not only my own , but kids in general. I love kids , especially the ones that compete in one thing or another , whether it be chess or golf, baseball, basketball, team rope It's the look in a kids face especially when they are doing really good but also when they do not so good. The tears show their grit and competiveness to want to succeed and even though us as parents don't want to see em cry. It takes em a long way in life. One of the reasons our Dummy Ropings are my favorite events

Well 1 Hope is a little different It's a organization that their mission is to find foster and forever homes for abused and neglected children where they can be loved, nurtured and provided with educational opportunities that contribute to their future success

You see I was on the Dominion Country Club driving range a few weeks ago playing in their annual golf tournament and heard a gentleman speak about the crazy numbers of kids taken out of horrible situations daily and it just hit a little different. And to see a little girl there with a huge smile on her face with her new family that at one time in her short time on earth was a living hell. Just think how lucky I was as a kid. I'm not saying we had much, but there was def alot of love in the house

All in all I just want to do a small part and be a small contributer to this great organization and give a kid or 2 or 3 have a chance to be a KID and be happy likes kids are suppose to be!!!!!!!!!!!
