It's with a heavy heart we have to announce pearls is shutting down against our will. The owners of the pool room and bar gave the lonestar vendors 7 days to clear out. This was a decision by a group of people that made one bad choice after another and honestly represent the problems with the way business can be run incorrectly. The vendors went above and beyond to hold together this business with the help of Luis Gonzalez and the Korner pocket Cafe and we had our best month last month increasing profits by 80 percent and creating a self sustaing business against the owners true motives it seems. The Eisenhauer Market wasted alot of people's time and resources to open a business they never Intended on running properly in hopes to open another bingo hall within 2 miles of 2 bingo halls. Constantly they turned off the ac and did not stay open scaring away a large percentage of folks that would want to come out to enjoy the well laid out pool room. Staff was not trained to do the job they needed to keep the place nice and always kept it in their minds they only needed to serve beer. They were over 30 days late paying their bills to the vendors multiple times. Honestly I don't think everyone inside the marketplaces corporation ever wanted it there in the first place. All of our in house leagues on Thursdays were moved to the splach and the longbranch saloon.
