The Dance Program at Northwest Vista College offers a variety of styles for all students. Come dance!
The Dance program at Northwest Vista College has something for every BODY. Preparing students for the Dance major at universities throughout Texas, NVC Dance also offers electives for fun and recreation, and Arts Core courses for students of any major. The Northwest Vista College Repertory Dance Ensemble provides a pre-professional experience in performance and choreography for serious dancers. Dance classes for non-credit are available through the college’s office of Community Education.

A bit late, but the end of the semester concert, Dance @ Vista, was a huge success. Thank you to the incredible students who performed so beautifully and to all who came to support them. We are on summer break but will be back to it in August!

Thank you to Angel Lopez of for coming to NVC to teach the Repertory Dance Ensemble a Hip Hop Dance Workshop and providing a Q&A session on what it takes to be a professional commercial dancer. We had a great time learning!

It’s almost here! Dance @ Vista will present on Saturday, May 9th 7pm in the Palmetto Theater. Tickets can be purchased day of at the box office for $5 or $2 with student ID. Come see what the Dance Program has been up to all semester long. Free reception immediately following the concert provided by Friends of the Arts at Vista. See you soon!

This week, NVC Dance Alum Juan Pablo Roblesgil is joining us as he sets a brand new work on the Repertory Dance Ensemble for the Dance @ Vista concert on May 9th. He will also be performing a solo!
Come to the show to see what the company worked on as well as the many other works we will be presenting that evening.

Pssst…did you know that NVC is 30 years old?! That’s right, we celebrated our 30th Anniversary on April 16th with a night full of dance, music, art and performance. The Fine and Performing Arts have been a staple of NVC culture since the beginning. Here’s to 30 more years of incredible student work 🎉💜
