Bronc Botz - Competition Robotics Team

And Week 2 in San Antonio is officially over! We had an amazing weekend competing at the Freeman Coliseum. Thank you for hosting such a fantastic event — so many great things happened this competition.

First, Bronc Botz has won the prestigious Impact Award BACK TO BACK! We are incredibly grateful for this honor and will continue striving to PAINT EVERYTHING ORANGE. This award secures us a spot at District Champs in mid-April, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

Second, our Programming Captain, Isabella T, was named a FIRST Leadership Award Semifinalist! This is also a BACK TO BACK, and Bronc Botz has never received this recognition two years in a row. Congratulations to her on becoming our third-ever recipient of this honor, and good luck as she competes against the district’s recipients to be named a Finalist.

Although our robot didn’t perform exactly how we hoped, our team has already bounced back and is making improvements. We’ll be ready to compete again at Space City 2 in Week 5!

COME WATCH US AT OUR COMP THIS WEEKEND!!

Special congrats to our varsity FTC Team Bronc Botz - Atlas for winning 2nd Place Inspire during Semi-Regionals at the Harmony School of Innovation this past weekend! This team has been very impressive as an all underclassmen varsity team. Unfortunately, 4008 came in 5th and only the top 4 teams move on, but they will come back stronger next year learning from their mistakes!
