There are moments in the week that stand out more than others. This young man was walking during his run ups & had to do another because he didn't make the time. During this run up, he was not in pace to make the time again. His mom got out of the vehicle in her work clothes, ran up the hill to get him, ran down with him, & was holding his arm/hand the entire time! That right there is a true mother's love. She didn't enable him to quit because he was crying or the workout was hard. She said I am raising him to push past adversity. I don't want him to get in the habit of quitting or thinking I'm going to be there all the time to save him. As parents we can hurt our kids more by preventing them from facing adversity. When your child is playing their respective sport, you can't go out there and save them from that ass whooping that can happen by another team. They have to learn to do things by themselves.
Earlier in the week, there were several kids crying in the beginning of their workout. No one in the gym batted an eye. We are all used to kids & adults crying/throwing up. One young man was struggling to do a 3 pt stance and firing out. He had to do push ups & up downs (100 total). Toward the middle of the session, he had it down. I gave him a hug and a high five. The smile on his face said it all. The gym erupted with cheers and applause. If this young man would've quit & walked out. He never would've gotten to feel the sense of accomplishment by overcoming something he should've been taught previously. I said all of that to bring it back to these clips. Parents play such a huge part in a child's development. The Program is just a tool to help build character through fitness. Yes I go over sport specific training; however this is more about building up strong minded/willed individuals that will succeed in life. I am not the trainer for everyone. I am the trainer that will help you transcend to a higher level physically and mentally.

Are you looking to develop your glutes? This is not only for women but men/athletes. Strong glutes help with speed/explosive power. You can look at track athletes (sprinters), figure skaters, & other athletes to see they have developed glutes. The exercises in this reel are ones I have written out for the board workouts. This has helped shape, tone, & grow the members glutes. The glutes consist of 3 muscles (glute medius, maximus, & minimus), & we target them all. Hip scoops while elevated on plates, elevated RDLs, bridge ups, speed skater squats, & much more will help you work towards your goal of growing your glutes.

This was my highlight of the week. I have enjoyed training my wife. she overcame her fear by doing box jumps. I held her hands and that made me smile. It's the little things that bring me joy when I'm with her. I love you!

I am getting soft in my old age. I will no longer make adults or athletes do wall sits with plates. I feel bad after seeing so many people cry, legs shake, & people falling down. We will do corner squats instead. This will allow you to "hold" on to the wall to make it easier. I don't want to be the mean, scary, angry trainer in San Antonio anymore. is a D1 volleyball player with a solid work ethic. This drill set up requires a bungee & . The focus is to get faster reacting to blocking. When the pod turns red, he takes is steps to block right. When it turns green, he will go to the left. The bungee gives resistance and helps with overspeed training depending on the direction.
