Here's Abel R. from our After-School Program, proudly displaying his Pillar of Leadership award. Abel is currently a Sr. Green belt and will be testing for his Brown Belt in just a few weeks. He is also a member of our Black Belt Club which means he is on the path to earning his Black Belt! Congratulations Abel, keep on Leading the Way!
The journey in karate is built on hard work, dedication, and determination. Every class, every challenge, and every lesson helps shape stronger skills, confidence, and discipline. It was a very exciting night at the dojo last Wednesday. We hosted the Korean Junior Eagle Demonstration Team. This is the "best of the best" from Korea and they started their 2 week U.S. tour here with us. What a great display of martial art skills, fun and camaraderie. This is their 21st trip to the states and we are honored to share in their experience. Thank you Master Charles Dudley of KJMS of Texas, for allowing us to share in this wonderful evening. We are looking forward to seeing them again at Martial Arts Night during the Spurs game on Monday. Our parents and demo team are also excited about performing on the court!

Last Saturday, we held our first Women's Self-Defense Seminar of the year. The ladies had a great time learning how to strike, keep alert, and of course how to "bring their crazy". Sensei Christina did another great job teaching and inspiring the ladies to a new level of awareness. Way to go ladies and thank you Sensei!

It's going to be a Howling Good Time tonight at the dojo. It's time for another fun Costume / Halloween party. This time it will be extra special with black lights, fog machines, special games and activities along with Nerf Night! The fun starts at 6:30 and runs till 10:30. It's not to late to signup.
