Today we want to officially announce and honor the retirement of Coach Davis after more than 30 years of faithful service as a coach and athletic director. His final two years here at Sunnybrook will forever be remembered as nothing short of historic—leading our Lions to back-to-back state championships in both football and basketball. 🏆🏈🏀

Coach Davis, your impact reaches far beyond the trophies and titles. You’ve been a steady leader, a mentor, and a spiritual guide to countless young men and women who had the privilege to play under your direction. You’ve built more than winning teams—you’ve built character, faith, and lifelong lessons. Your influence will live on in every athlete you mentored and every life you touched.

Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Coach, you have sharpened and strengthened all of us with your leadership, wisdom, and Christ-like love.

From all of us at Sunnybrook Christian Academy: thank you for your unwavering dedication, for the lives you’ve touched, and for the legacy you leave behind. You will always be part of the Lions family. 🦁❤️
