What a run by our Northside Suburban Little League 10U team!

These boys battled every inning, represented Northside with pride, and never stopped competing. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, finishing as the District 19 Runner-Up is an accomplishment to be proud of.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and supporters who made this journey special. The future is bright for this group, and this is only the beginning.

🥎 Congratulations to our NSLL 11U Softball All-Stars!

The journey came to an end last night, but what a run it was!

Our 11U Softball team battled hard all tournament long and finished 3rd in District 19, representing Northside Suburban Little League with pride, determination, and class every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of these young ladies, their coaches, and their families for their commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

Thank you for representing Northside so well and showing everyone what it means to be part of the Northside family.

Dust off your navy blue, bring the energy, and come out to support the boys and girls who have battled their way this far. They’ve earned the opportunity, and there’s nothing better than seeing Northside families pack the stands and cheer them on.

Northside Suburban Little League is aware of the recent tournament eligibility ruling involving one of our All-Star teams.

The player in question attended the school listed on his School Enrollment Form prior to October 1, as required by Little League. The player later changed schools at the semester, before the start of the Little League season.

Little League International subsequently ruled the player ineligible based on the school change and removed Northside from tournament play.

Northside strongly disagrees with this ruling. The School Enrollment Form asks whether a player attended the school prior to October 1, which the player did. The form does not require leagues to verify that a player remained enrolled at the same school throughout the entire school year.

Most importantly, our hearts are with the players who earned the opportunity to compete on the field. These young athletes have worked tirelessly for this moment, and we believe they deserve a fair and thorough review of the circumstances surrounding this decision.

We are continuing to seek further review through the appropriate Little League channels and will provide updates as they become available.
