Providing volunteer Rules Referees for Golf Tournaments in San Antonio and surrounding areas. The Group started inviting these people to our monthly meetings.
The group was formed in 2001 by Ralph Myers when the volunteer USGA Committee Members and a few other volunteer Rules Officials wanted to meet monthly to discuss Rule situations that they experienced while working qualifiers. The Texas Golf Association is currently working to recruit new volunteers to join our lovely group in serving at TGA tournaments and events.
We wanted to invite you all into the process, as we know you all have friends, family, and colleagues who may also share the love of golf.
Attached to this message is a volunteer recruitment flyer, for those interested in helping, to share a physical or electronic copy to your connections.
