San Antonio Polo Club is thriving! Thanks to our full barn and growing programs, we’re expanding our team and looking for a dedicated BARN/FARM MANAGER to join our close-knit family who isn’t afraid to get their boots dirty!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Clean stalls daily and maintain paddocks
✅ Feed horses and manage turnout schedules
✅ Mow pastures and w**d eat around facilities
✅ Maintain and properly care for all barn equipment
✅ Perform daily health checks on horses
✅ Coordinate with farriers, vets, and suppliers
✅ Manage inventory, such as feed hay and shavings for Club to order and refill
✅ Ensure a safe, clean environment for horses and clients
What We Need:
🔹 Someone passionate about horses and hands-on farm work
🔹 Extensive horse handling experience
🔹 Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and direct others
🔹 Comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions
🔹 Must be able to read, write and speak English
🔹 Knowledge of equine nutrition and basic health care
🔹 Can represent the barn professionally and work with boarding clients with confidence
This is NOT a desk job - we need someone ready to muck stalls, move hay, manage turnout, and keep our facility running smoothly every single day.
