Woodlawn celebrated our country’s 250th anniversary with a dramatic and interactive reading of the Declaration of Independence led by “George Washington” and “Benjamin Franklin”. Student readers helped to bring the document to life and the audience reacted by booing during the list of grievances against the King. Tune in to KENS 5 at 5:30 tonight to see the memorable way students were able to participate in our country’s history.

Thank you so much to TCIS, our charter parter, who made this all possible and donated our costumes as well as shirts for the whole school.

Monday May 18th our 8th graders will be decorating their graduation caps!

Students are invited to bring materials to decorate their caps (like hot glue sticks, rhinestones etc.)

We’re so excited for our 8th grade Eagles!
