📚🚌 At Woodlawn, we are growing strong, proud readers and developing the global thinkers and problem solvers of tomorrow! Through the Book Buddies Bus, our Eagles explored new stories, built their home libraries, and strengthened their love of reading.

As an International Baccalaureate school, we use reading to nurture curious, knowledgeable, and open-minded learners who understand the world around them.

En Woodlawn, estamos formando lectores seguros y orgullosos, así como a los pensadores globales y solucionadores de problemas del mañana. A través del Autobús Book Buddies, nuestros Eagles exploraron nuevas historias, ampliaron sus bibliotecas en casa y fortalecieron su amor por la lectura.

Como escuela de Bachillerato Internacional (IB), utilizamos la lectura para formar estudiantes curiosos, informados y de mentalidad abierta que comprenden el mundo que los rodea.

Our MYP Lunch Bunch students had an amazing time having lunch with Principal De La Garza! 🦅🍽️ There were lots of smiles, laughter, and great conversations. We look forward to hosting more special lunches and celebrating even more of our Soaring Eagles throughout the year! ❤️🖤

A huge congratulations to our August Attendance Winners! 🎉👏🏾 We are incredibly proud of your dedication and commitment to showing up every day, ready to learn and grow!

Students who did not miss a day of school during August were entered into a raffle to win gift cards. This incentive is part of our campus attendance plan to recognize and celebrate excellent attendance.

Our overall attendance rate for August was 94.04%. Let’s continue working together to improve our attendance and ensure every student is at school, on time, every day. Keep up the great work, Eagles! 🦅❤️🖤

Today’s Pajama Day was a cozy success! 🎉 Our students had a blast learning in their favorite pajamas, and we achieved a 93% attendance rate!

Theme days are one of the fun incentives included in our campus attendance plan to encourage students to come to school every day, ready to learn and participate. Thank you, families, for helping us make attendance a priority! 🦅💤📚

Tomorrow, September 2, students may wear their pajamas to school! Please make sure students wear closed-toe shoes (no athletic slides) and pajamas that provide appropriate coverage and feature school-appropriate images and logos.
