We’ve just learned that entertainer, Maurice Hines, has passed away. Susan Connally and her studio, Connally’s Dance Workshop, had the pleasure of presenting Mr. Hines and Mercedes Ellington for one of the summer workshops that spanned over 40 years. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.

Congratulations to graduating senior, Carli Medina, on her acceptance to the (University of Oklahoma).
A student of Connally’s Dance Workshop since she was 5, Carli is graduating in the top 3% of her class at Alamo Heights HS. She will be double majoring in Modern Dance Performance and Pre-Medicine. Carli was accepted into OU’s Honor College and is one of 40 admitted students to receive the National Award Scholarship. This young woman has a bright future ahead of her. We are so proud of her accomplishments.
