It is with an extremely heavy heart that I inform you all that the AAAA Family has lost one of our athletes to a tragic car accident. This is the type of news no coach ever wants to have to deliver to their team. Brady Harris (previously AAAA-Pieper, most recently AAAA-NE), passed on July 4 due to injuries he suffered from that unfortunate accident.

Brady was full of life, loved to have fun, make everyone laugh, and was an extremely talented athlete with a future ahead of him. He will be missed dearly!

Please hug your kids tight and keep the entire Harris Family in your thoughts and prayers. ♥️

North East ISD is rescheduling or canceling all after school events for this evening, Friday, Feb. 21, 2025.

Morning events scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 will be delayed. Coaches/Sponsors will notify all impacted students with more information.

This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution after consulting with the National Weather Service and the Bexar County Emergency Operations team.

Today, we had the bittersweet honor of presenting a special token of appreciation to one of our longtime employees and volunteers, Mindy Donofrio, and her husband, Doug Donofrio.

Mindy & Doug have been pillars of our community, dedicating countless hours to South Texas Swimming as Administrative Officials, Executive Secretaries, Chairman of the Board, and so much more. Their commitment and hard work have been instrumental in shaping the success of our program and South Texas Swimming as a whole.
