Sunday workouts happen when the baby is asleep
⠀⠀

⠀⠀
My family comes first. Just because I’ve CHOSEN to take care of ME doesn’t mean I have chosen to NEGLECT them!
⠀⠀

Don’t ever fool yourself into thinking that you can’t have BOTH or that having one means sacrificing the other!!! It’s simply not true so don’t believe that lie ANYMORE!!!!
⠀⠀

The morning was spent with a trip to the donut shop, listening to worship music, prayer and talking about our blessings. Then we watched a movie and Daddy took over so I could write my posts for my challenge group! I answered some messages for info about getting health support and questions about what I eat! Pouring into people and sharing what works for me gives me LIFE!!! ASK ME ALL YOUR QUESTIONS!!! 😂🥰
⠀⠀

Miss A went down for a nap and I jumped on a 30 min barre workout. Finished week 4 and I’m feeling strong and ready for week 5!!!!

Just a personal update that I’m excited to share and maybe it can help you too!
⠀⠀

⠀⠀

⠀⠀
It’s been a little over a week since I switched back to my regular way of eating and then included a type of cleanse because my body truly felt sick. By that I mean I was constantly tired, feeling sluggish, and felt an internal heaviness. Also, emotionally I was feeling off...not depressed or anything...but like, constipated? If that makes sense. Haha! Brain constipation. Unable to sort through my thoughts well, unfocused, scattered.
⠀⠀

⠀⠀

One thing I KNOW is that food absolutely has everything to do with this. What we put in our bodies MATTERS! Diets don’t work. And sometimes we just need a 9-1-1 to dial in and help us gently redirect.
⠀⠀

I don’t want this to be a super long post or anything, just to share wht I noticed in the bathroom this morning. I feel smaller, less bloated, I’m not swollen. My brain is clearer and it was easier to actually wake up and get up.
⠀⠀

⠀⠀
I weighed myself and I’m down 6 lbs from last week. I was expecting that it would fall off pretty quickly because my body was struggling to balance itself after eating the way I used to. (If you’re not up to date with why I did that, just keep watching stories or go on IG).
⠀⠀

⠀⠀

⠀⠀
Anyway! Just wanted to share what I’m seeing happen and feeling really good about it!
If you want some help with your own eating habits, just hit me up! I’d be happy to help. via .app

Be encouraged. —————>
⠀⠀

⠀⠀
There are LOTS of reasons why diets fail us. It’s no surprise that nutrition is not one size fits all and you have to find what works for you. But that doesn’t mean it has to be confusing or time consuming or depriving

⠀⠀

⠀⠀
My advice: take the emphasis off of losing weight and put the emphasis on upgrading your mindset to focus on feeding your body things that will help it function better

⠀⠀

I have a soft spot for Mommas.

My health/fitness journey started just weeks before finding out that I was pregnant with baby #3.

There was instantly a choice to make: do what I can OR quit. I didn’t want to quit. I didn’t want to feel defeated anymore. I’d already made the decision to get in shape from home, whatever that was going to look like.

Was a nervous? Yes. Was I skeptical? YES! The previous 2 pregnancies had been high risk, and I was finally off that list. I didn’t want to go back on it and I also didn’t want to gain more weight.

So I issued tons of grace to myself and started slow. The at home programs I do include a Prenatal/Postnatal program that was WONDERFUL!!!

But it’s not enough just to experience the benefits of great health. My heart is with Mommas EVERYWHERE who want to have a healthy and active pregnancy, who want to be STRONG for labor and delivery, who are struggling with fear and apprehension to continue exercising.

I AM HERE! I am here to support you. I’m here to guide you, walk with you through learning your new body, help you find grace in slowing down when you have to and celebrate your feelings of triumph when you can push just a little bit harder. I’m here even to help you build a business helping others build healthy lives!!

My heart in this business is for the Momma!

I started this journey for myself, but I continue it for Mommas everywhere.

Your sleeplessness is real. Your love is real. Your strength is real. Your responsibility is real. Your desire for better health is real. Your ability is real.

Let’s chat about your prenatal/postnatal journey and see if connecting with the programs I used would be something you enjoy!

⠀⠀

1 T Olive Oil
3 medium zucchini, sliced thin
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
1 cup frozen sweet potatoes
3/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
6 large eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
⠀⠀

⠀⠀

Heat oil in non stick skillet over med heat.
⠀⠀

Add zucchini, bell pepper, onion, and sweet potatoes, cook stirring frequently until zucchini and sweet potatoes are tender.
⠀⠀

Increases heat to medium high of moisture needs to evaporate.
⠀⠀

Add eggs and cheese. Mix well. Cook without stirring for 2 mins. As it cooks, lift the edges and tilt the skillet so uncooked eggs flow to the edges.
⠀⠀

Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook 10-12 mins or until knife inserted comes out clean.
