Hey there Brak Pak'ers. It's been a day, a week, a month, maybe 2 years? (really - what day is it?) Anyway, some of us "alums" are going to meet at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, December 22 at the Brak Pak bench in the park for a little run/walk through the UIW lights. Nothing formal - BYOB as always. We just want to see who got fat, thin, didn't cut their hair, can still run during the pandemic, etc. So, dig out your Brak Pak reds and join in - or comment that you are now a recluse who no longer does fun things ;)

Julia (Earth mother from zoo run) will be celebrating her 89th birthday this coming Thursday, January 28. Several of us thought it would be nice for as many folks as possible to send her a birthday card. Her address:

According to Cindy, Julia's daughter, Julia's memory is sporadic. Hopefully the cards will give her memory a boost. Be sure to sign your last name and, if you include a picture, name the folks in the picture.

Cindy plans to bring Julia, who is on hospice, back to Julia's home around March 1. I will keep folks posted.
