A fantastic youth clinic took place at Fiesta Lanes today. Greg and I got to see Kaitlyn thrive in her first clinic as a coach. It was a great experience that covered both classroom and lane activities helping youth bowlers learn more about the game.

2025 Junior Gold Green Bay qualifying starts in just a few minutes across centers in Wisconsin. There are bowlers here who have an eye on winning, others an eye on making the final round, or on making it out of qualifying, etc. And then there are all the bowlers who are happy to have made it this far. Many parents of those bowlers, like myself, joke that a goal is "hopefully not finish last," but truth be told, someone has to finish last - and even those bowlers will have done something that all those thousands of youth bowlers who didn't make it this far didn't do.

No matter what your goals going forward in the competition are, CONGRATULATIONS! Just getting here is a great accomplishment! Best of luck, everyone!

SATX Youth Bowlers Tour

We are thrilled to kick-off our partnership with The Bowlers to Veterans Link for the 2025 – 2026 Season of SATX Youth Bowlers Tour! The Bowlers to Veterans Link is sponsoring up to 4 entries each month for Military dependent youth bowlers in our events. One entry in U12, one in U14, one in U16 and one in U18.

A "Military Dependent Youth Bowler" is defined as USBC Youth Bowler in good standing, with Junior Gold Membership, under the age of 18 as of 8/1/25 with a parent or guardian with Active Duty, Retired, Veteran or National Guard / Reserve Status. "Military Dependent Youth Bowler" can be awarded with one (1) entry per SATX YBT season.
