The Marianist Residence is currently in need of a weekend part-time housekeeper.

Purpose of the Position:
Provide housekeeping for a safe, clean environment for the residents who live in the assisted living areas.

Primary functions:
•Communicate and interact effectively with residents and co-workers
•Function effectively as a team member following all policies and procedures, using a team building approach
•Provide a hygienic environment by observing universal precautions in performing duties
•Demonstrate skills in observing OSHA guidelines and reporting malfunctions of equipment
•Follow established schedules and protocols for cleaning

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years experience preferred but not required

DUTIES: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, buffing, polishing residents rooms, hallways, common rooms, and chapel

SUPERVISION: Manager of Operations

SKILLS: Knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions
