Happy 9th Birthday, Lucy girl 🐾❤️
You’ve brought so much joy, laughter, comfort, and love into our lives. Through every season, you’ve always been there with a wagging tail and a happy heart.
We’re lucky you’re ours, and we love you more than words can say!

Sometimes the best days leave the fewest pictures — just being present, making memories with my favorite person. 💜

2026 Prickly Pear 50k 📸

Prickly Pear 50K 🏁
6am start.
Humidity was HIGH. But we had a plan and stuck to it.
First loop the goal was simple: settle in and keep it around 10:30–11 pace.
Felt smooth. Felt controlled.
Loop 1 ✅
Second loop the trails filled up with the 15K and 5K runners.
So much energy and support out there — the vibes stayed high.
But those rocks… they were destroying my feet and the legs were starting to feel it.
Still finished the loop strong.
Loop 2 ✅
But we didn’t come all this way to come all this way.
Last year this race handed us a DNF after lap two.
This year was different.
We were finishing this race.
I knew lap three would be the toughest, so I stuck to the plan:
Run the mile.
Walk 3 minutes.
Repeat.
Everything was clicking… then disaster hit.
A trail marker had been taken down and I ended up on the wrong trail. +3 extra miles 🫠
After getting back on track the legs were completely shot.
New goal: just finish the race.
Unofficial 50K finish: 5:58:50
Crossed the Prickly Pear 50 finish line in 6:51:00.
Longest run I’ve ever done.
Man… I’m proud of this one.
And the scary part?
I’m ready for more. 😤

Outlast Trail Run
One 5k. One Hour. For 6 Hours.
Full sun.
No shade.
Dust everywhere. 🥵
Started strong.
Finished in survival mode 😅
My Garmin questioned every life decision I made…
…and somehow still says I’m “Productive.” 🤣
That last 5K wasn’t about pace.
It was about not quitting.
We had a solid . crew out there.
Motivation stayed high even when the heat was cashing checks.
“Want to go fast, go alone.
Want to go far? Go together.”
A lot of us rocking our Just Move hats — and people were feeding off it. Encouraging each other. Helping others push through their own tough miles.
That’s community.
Huge shoutout to the real MVPs —
😘 , , and —
Holding down the tent, keeping us dialed, capturing the moments, and making sure we didn’t completely melt out there.

41 has never looked so good 😍
I absolutely love this girl, the life we’ve built, the adventures we chase, and just doing life side by side every day.
Grateful for you always. Happy birthday, babe! 💜

Mock Outlast run this morning: 5K every hour for 4 hours 🤙🏼
Early 5am start, legs still feeling yesterday’s trail run, but I wanted to test the body and the fueling plan. Each 5K got a little faster, and honestly, I felt strong the whole way through.
Still have two more rounds in the actual race, so pacing will be key. But today gave me confidence that the plan is working.
Garmin says I’m “overreaching” 🤣
Body says we’re getting stronger.
