Together we are better !!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SA UNITED SOCCER CLUB AND COBRA SPORTS IMPACT MERGE
AUGUST 9, 2023
We are delighted to announce that we have entered into a collaboration with CSC Impact. CSC Impact will now operate under the SA United Soccer Club umbrella, and we are excited to welcome the CSC coaching staff, players, and families to our club.
By coming together, SA United Soccer Club has increased its player pool and resources, now being able to offer more opportunities to players and aiding in coaching development. The former CSC teams will still train at the Impact facilities and be led by the Impact coaches. As part of the SA United umbrella, the coaches will work with our full-time staff and administrative team and have access to the club’s coaching curriculums, coaching clinics, and personal development plans. In turn, our coaches will have the chance to work with the CSC Impact staff and gain from their knowledge and experience.
CSC Impact is a nonprofit soccer organization that was founded with a passionate vision to provide accessible and inclusive opportunities for the community to engage in the beautiful game. Driven by a shared love for soccer and a desire to foster social cohesion, the Impact founders came together to create a platform that transcends barriers, promotes teamwork, and empowers individuals through the sport of Futbol that we cherish.
Director Carlos Ayala had this to say: "We are thrilled and delighted to announce our collaboration with a dynamic and dedicated soccer organization as SA United has been to the Alamo area. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission to amplify our IMPACT and reach even more individuals through the power of soccer. Together, we are poised to create a stronger, more vibrant community, united by our shared enthusiasm for the sport and our collective commitment to positive change."
SA United Technical Director Martin Smith said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our club. I have known Carlos for a while through the local soccer scene, and we have always had a great relationship. I respect Carlos for what he and his staff have built at Impact. We share very similar values when it comes to developing players and more importantly, people. They consistently produce good teams, and using a smaller player pool, always get their teams to compete at high levels across the STYSA pyramid. That is a credit for the work they do on and off the field and I am looking forward to us now being able to work together under one umbrella and continue to grow our club”.
