It was a rough weekend for the boys but there is no doubt that they will bounce back 👍🏽💪🏽

It’s been a while since our boys have been in action— they went 2-1 in their first 14U one day tourney! Errors hurt them in their bracket game but nonetheless coaches saw lots of good things!

We hope to have a wonderful & healthy spring season of league play & hopefully more tournaments!

Family and Friends- we are proud to introduce to you, the 50/70 S.A. Five Diamonds Spring League Champs!!! 🏆⚾️

If you were at yesterdays game, you witnessed some great baseball played not just by our boys but by the opposing team as well- a pitchers duel if you will!! We needed extra innings and 2 1/2 hours to determine a winner in this very close 2-3 ball game!!

***GAME HIGHLIGHTS***
Our Pitchers #00 Kiondre Bynum & #3 Jose Gonzalez combined for 12 K’s and only allowed ONE hit!!
#00 came up big offensively as well & tied the game in the bottom of the third with a Solo HR!
There were NO EARNED RUNS allowed as our opponents scored on errors!
There were other notable big outs made, including-
In the top of the third after an error in which a run scored, #6 Isaiah Veliz held his ground to make a big third out at home after a heads up throw from #00! And in the Top of 7th after a pitcher and catcher change a few Knights players starting with #11 Cruz Mendez, organized a great rundown that forced a second out- while #3 finished the inning with a K!
Finally, before running out of daylight & in the BOTTOM of the 7th with two outs and a runner on 3rd, #1 Royce Garcia hit a hard ground ball to short to drive in the winning run!!

Friends & Family, help us congratulate our boys as they brought home some 2nd place rings in this past Sunday’s Tournament in Cibolo!! 🥈⚾️

It was their first tournament in almost a year and we could not be any more proud of their efforts! After dropping both pool games they came back strong, winning back to back bracket games to get themselves into the championship game!!! They fell short 1-3 but fought hard to the very end!!

Special shout out to our #9- Corey Martinez!!! His teammates voted him MVP for the day as he showcased some outstanding defense, was great on the mound & had some big hits!!

#3, #8 & #14 we missed you guys out there!!
